Hey, sweet peeps!  I’m Lynore Harding, owner and cake artist of Divine Cakes and Sweets Boutique, where everything is blessed with LOVE. I am a mother of two, Elijah and Alora, Licensed Practical Nurse since 1999. I have a great love for community and helping others. I’m a native of South Louisiana where great food resides, as well as some of the best southern desserts. Growing up in the south you have the opportunity of enjoying a lot of old school baked desserts and treats that your grandparents, parents, and neighbors baked and the family as whole enjoyed together. My childhood days I remember sneaking out of bed and stealing (don’t tell anyone) tea cakes during the night. Tea cakes, sweet potato sweet dough pies, and sweet potato bread was my favorite sweet treats as a child. Those favorites, have turned into some of my top sellers in the bakery.  My love for baking started in my mid-teen years from watching LBP channel on the weekends and then one day I purchased a Wilton cake decorating book and the rest is history. 

Our e-commerce licensed and insured cottage bakery pride itself in creating unique and tasty custom cakes and cookies, gourmet confections, as well as delicious southern desserts like grandma made.  We believe in using quality ingredients in our products to please your palate.  My strong belief is that everyone should celebrate birthdays, weddings, accomplishments, milestone, etc., or a just because moment and what better way to celebrate ----with cake or some type of decadent dessert!

We have been featured in The Daily Advertiser twice. We have also made it to the top 3 out of 10 bakeries in “Best of Acadiana 2021” --Bakery Division.
